About Us
We are a boutique software development and data analytics company. Our group of business and software professionals each have over 25 years of software development and data analytics experience. We are very experienced in Microsoft software automation and combine this with valuable real world business expertise. Our company was founded in 1994 as Mad Dog Productions and in 2016 changed the name to SEI Software Group LLC.

We bring our business experience and technology together to create elegant business solutions for our clients. We have expanded to include analytics and reporting services for our clients, many of which prefer to outsource these tasks. Our first engagement was helping a leading consumer products company automate their sales data and business planning. We learned to be successful by providing customers with technical expertise and business guidance and wrap it in personalized service. This was over 20 years ago and our philosophy has not changed. Those early engagements produced many referrals and long-term customers still with us today.
Our Principals
Sarah Ives
President, Founder
Sarah started her career at a major consumer products company performing sales and market analysis. She started SEI Software Group (formerly Mad Dog Productions) in 1994 and still provides the deep knowledge in consumer product data. Sarah has been developing Microsoft solutions for over 20 years and not only leads our company, but also has extensive experience in group software training and project management. Sarah is a graduate of Purdue University and has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Robert Ives
Director
Robert joined SEI Software Group in 2016. He has over 25 years experience in designing, writing and implementing software solutions for large and small companies. His skills lie in writing software applications as well as business processes and operations. His previous roles included Director of Accounting, Director of IT and VP of Operations. Robert has an Accounting degree from Iowa State University and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
